Here's how to cancel your Gap card folks:
- Locate your Gap card.
- Call the toll-free customer service number listed on the back.
- Listen to the automated menu and select the option entitled, "Cancel your card."
- Cut up your card and trash it.
Yes, it's surprisingly easy. No customer service reps, no hassle. While Monogram Bank of Georgia often makes it terrifically difficult for you to pay your bill, it's quite easy to cancel the darn thing.
CAN-CEL! CAN-CEL! CAN-CEL!

what's the result of your GAP card issue? I just had a similar problem. I did not receive any bill statement for 6 months, and now sundenly they told me I have to pay late fee,....etc. Yes, GAP sucks!!!
I wish I could say that justice prevailed and that we didn't have to pay any of those late fees, but I can't.
We ended up paying 2 or 3 months' worth of late fees. 1 or 2 from the first go around of not receiving a statement, and 1 from a second time. The second time, I was checking things online and realized that we had missed the due date by like a day.
Anyway, the thing is, according to the agreement you sign with Monogram Bank of Georgia, you are responsible for payment whether or NOT you receive a statement. That's right...according to them, they're just doing you a favor by sending a bill. Maybe they'll send one, maybe they won't...at least that's what it seems like.
I wanted to make a big fuss and contact all sorts of consumer credit bureaus and whatnot, but we essentially screw ourselves when we sign the agreement. The bank has totally covered their asses.
It's horrible. I hate them.
oh, fortunately, I never used Gap cards!
